La Vaguada

At La Vaguada shopping centre in Madrid, Hunter Douglas Architectural has elevated the visitor experience with 9,000 m² of HeartFelt® ceilings. Designed by L35 Arquitectos, this large-scale installation uses dark brown felt panels to combine acoustic performance, aesthetic warmth, and spatial coherence—creating a more comfortable, inviting atmosphere for shoppers.

A standout feature is the innovative 90º corner solution, allowing a seamless ceiling-to-wall transition that reinforces the centre’s visual identity. As a Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze product, HeartFelt® also underlines the project’s commitment to sustainability and responsible design.
