Anthura Offices

A completely new design was selected for the renovated head office of seed breeder Anthura in Bleiswijk. Both the exterior and interior underwent significant transformations, with Hunter Douglas Architectural managing the installation of 300 m² of interior ceiling. The architect chose Heartfelt Linear in warm brown tones and baffles, achieving optimal acoustic control while enhancing the aesthetic appeal.

Strong image
The design assignment was undertaken by an architect well-acquainted with the Westland region, who had previously proposed enhancements for several nearby locations. A common observation in large business parks is their often chaotic presentation, where cars, storage tanks, and various objects clutter the entrances. For a multinational company like Anthura, maintaining a strong image is essential, making this a key focus of the project.

Openness
Perhaps the most significant transformation took place within the office, where the original layout was outdated and fragmented, featuring numerous small spaces that limited interaction. All interior walls were removed, leaving only the shell of the building. The new design promotes greater openness, offering a glimpse into the inner workings of this intriguing company.

Adressing noise levels
With the newly created open spaces, addressing noise levels became essential. The solution was found in Heartfelt MultiPanel, which offers effective acoustic absorption while enhancing visual appeal. The horizontal slats also contribute to a cozier atmosphere, helping to create a welcoming environment in the expansive greenhouse, where visitors might otherwise feel disoriented.
