AFAS Headquarters

The impressive AFAS complex, spanning 62,000 m², houses the head office, a training center, and several demo rooms. The building’s organic shapes, including curved façades, demanded advanced installation techniques and bespoke solutions.

Ultimately, the innovative HeartFelt® Linear PareauLux climate ceiling was chosen for its striking aesthetics, excellent acoustics, and Cradle to Cradle™ certification. Approximately 6,000 m² of ceilings were installed, 4,000 m² of which in complex, rising fan-shaped designs. The integrated mini-LED lighting creates a subtle starry-sky effect, while the use of felt in various colours adds warmth and enhances acoustic comfort.

PareauLux is the result of a collaboration between Inteco, developer of the innovative climate system with exceptionally high cooling capacity, and Hunter Douglas Architectural, responsible for the distinctive design and materials.
