Quartier Blue

Hasselt has transformed into a waterside city with Quartier Bleu, a large-scale development featuring residences, townhouses, retail, dining, and an underground parking garage for 2,350 cars. A standout feature is the parking entrance, elegantly designed with solid wood. The architecture blends contemporary elements with beige-grey natural stone, red brick, concrete, and solid wood details.

Creneau International designed parts of the interior, including restaurants and ‘The Connector’—the link between the parking and commercial spaces. A key design element is the 1,100 m² Derako solid wood grill ceiling in European Pine, integrated with ceiling domes that mimic natural daylight, creating a striking, otherworldly atmosphere.
