The Traveller Pavilion

For the new Traveller Pavilion in Cumulus Park Amsterdam, 704 m² of open linear ceiling systems made of Siberian larch wood were installed. The pavilion’s design, combining clear glass façades with natural materials, creates a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Its curved wooden ceiling fits perfectly into the surroundings, offering an inspiring space for staff, entrepreneurs, students, and visitors. The main challenge was the curved outdoor ceiling, requiring close collaboration from the start to achieve the design’s unique shape. Profiles were pre-fabricated and numbered for precise installation, and adjustments for slot diffusers and access hatches were made. Regular on-site coordination ensured a smooth assembly and successful realisation of the architect’s vision.
