Vanderlande Office

Vanderlande, a leader in luggage transport systems, built Building nr. 60 to accommodate its expanding operations. Located along the Corridor road in Veghel, this seven-story office features over 800 workspaces, a restaurant, gym, and underground parking, all aiming for CO2 neutrality and BREEAM Outstanding certification.

Derako’s FSC Certified solid wood systems played a crucial role in achieving these sustainability goals, with over 4,170 m² of African Ayous and Pine Wood used for ceilings, walls, and outdoor areas. The integration of corten steel tree trunks and wood slats created a natural, robust aesthetic. The project’s success was made possible through close collaboration with Gepla B.V. for seamless production and delivery.
