Why HeartFelt® Baffle Ceiling System?
Baffle ceilings are ideal for mitigating noise pollution and reverberating sound in most building sectors, and are used to improve the acoustics in concert halls, theatres, conference rooms and other spaces where good sound quality is important. The felt material turns every ceiling into a visual and acoustic playground. Like the ceilings and walls, lightweight HeartFelt® baffles are made from non-woven thermoformed PES fibres and are FR tested to B-S1, d0. Each baffle panel measures 40 - 80mm in width and is available in 100 - 500mm height, with a maximum length of 2000mm.

Colours
Shades of grey & earth tones
HeartFelt® Baffles are available in five shades of grey and five earth tones. The proportion of the white, black and coloured PES fibres determines the colour of the panels.

The acoustic comfort in an office space, school or public building contributes to our well-being as poor acoustic comfort can affect health, communication, safety, productivity and learning. Using Hunter Douglas high performance acoustical ceiling products are the best solution to deliver outstanding acoustic performance, comfort and an aesthetic pleasing solution. With the HeartFelt® Baffle ceiling system, absorption values (αw) between 0.45 and 0.70 can be achieved.

Many of our products are made of aluminum produced in our own smelters. We’ve optimized our processes to use up to 99% of recycled content to produce the right alloy for our products. Our wood is FSC certified and we embrace the Cradle to Cradle principle in our product development.

Reducing the energy use of the total building stock is key to the prevention of global warming. Most modern office buildings use more energy for cooling than heating. Effectively managing the solar energy that passes through the transparent part of the façade is a key strategy in the prevention of overheating in both old and new buildings.
