The new reception and conference centre features bold materials like leather, dark wood, and blue steel, complemented by two distinctive ceilings. A wood veneer grill ceiling in poplar was installed in the reception, corridors, and waiting areas, while an industrial-style metal ceiling was chosen for the staff lounge and bar.

The installation team worked closely with Hunter Douglas on the MultiPanel BXD metal ceiling. With various measurements and a puzzle-like design, careful preparation was essential to achieve the perfect fit. The result is a striking ceiling that combines a raw, “dockyard” feel with excellent acoustic quality, blending mismatched wood and dark metal to complete the centre’s unique look.
