The completion of this remarkable building, which officially opened its doors to the public this year, marks a milestone in architectural innovation and the leisure and entertainment industry.

Silt, now a top spot for events, dining, entertainment, and luxury accommodations, perfectly combines smart design with practical function. The building blends naturally into the surrounding dunes, creating a beautiful and functional space.
Hunter Douglas Architectural supplied the Derako® solid wood grill ceiling, which serves as a key element in the interior design, especially in event spaces and restaurants where both aesthetics and functionality are crucial.

It complies with stringent Belgian fire regulations and offers excellent acoustic properties for creating the right ambiance in Silt’s versatile event spaces and restaurants. The wooden slats, finished with a bespoke colour varnish chosen by the architect, contribute to the unique visual identity of the casino, making it stand out as a premier destination on the Belgian coast.
