Big Green Egg

For Big Green Egg Europe’s high-end office building, Team Paul de Vroom + Sputnik created a comprehensive design that integrates architecture, interior design, and furniture. The building features a robust exterior and a light, atmospheric interior overlooking a central patio. Sustainable in every sense, it generates its own energy, is gas-free, and eco-friendly. The design emphasises timeless form, flexible layouts, and honest materials, resulting in a sustainable aesthetic.

Aligned with the company’s core values, the design highlights natural spaciousness and distinctive material use. In many areas, Hunter Douglas’ Derako solid wood linear ceiling system, installed by Ceil Con over 500 m² of Ayous wood, enhances both warmth and acoustics. Research indicates that “healthy” buildings, such as those with solid wood, improve air quality, reduce VOC emissions, lower stress levels, and boost productivity.
