The New Administrative Center (NAC) in Houthalen is a striking example of modern architecture in the Limburg region. Combining sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics, this project is a success story for designers, contractors, and users alike. The wavy wooden ceilings add a unique character to both the interior and exterior.

Sustainability and Innovation in Ceilings
Hunter Douglas supplied 594 m² of FSC-certified American Red Oak for indoor use and 110 m² for outdoor applications, along with 450 m² of open metal ceilings in aluminium. The sustainable design meets strict ecological standards, while the acoustic and fire-retardant properties ensure a safe and comfortable environment. Thanks to innovative mounting and flexible systems, the ceiling panels are easy to maintain and offer design freedom for various applications. With this project, Hunter Douglas once again demonstrates its versatility as a partner in architectural solutions.
