Royal Vezet

Royal Vezet is Europe’s market leader in vegetables, fruit, salads, and refrigerated meals. The company plays a vital role in regional employment and collaborates closely with local agriculture. To accommodate its ongoing growth, a new office was designed by BBHD architects from Alkmaar. The three-story building, with a 3,500 m² footprint, features a central atrium surrounded by office spaces. Its design is inspired by the former sauerkraut factory that once stood here.

A standout feature is the solid wooden wall and ceiling cladding, enhancing the building’s atmosphere. Vezet chose the C2C Certified® Derako® Linear ProLine system in African Ayous, a stable, lightweight wood. The white-washed finish complements the greenery in the central hallway. Verwol professionally installed 600 m² of wooden slats (15 x 63 mm, 12 mm spacing), creating a sleek, linear effect.

The building’s open character, natural elements, and high glass façades invite daylight in, seamlessly blending indoors with outdoors. The entrance, featuring a green wall and matching cladding, creates a welcoming, nature-inspired space.
