Die Continentale

The new Continentale headquarters in Dortmund, designed by kadawittfeldarchitektur, features over 3,000 m² of Derako^® Solid Wood Grill ceilings by Hunter Douglas Architectural. Made from sustainable European oak, the ceiling brings warmth and structure to the central “Boulevard” space, combining natural aesthetics with modern functionality.

Built with a focus on sustainability, the fully demountable wood-and-aluminium system supports material reuse and CO₂ binding. Integrated lighting and acoustic solutions ensure comfort and visual harmony throughout. The project continues a proven partnership between kadawittfeldarchitektur and Hunter Douglas Architectural.
