Hunter Douglas Architectural continues to expand its Luxalon® Tavola™ Straight Baffle series, offering architects and designers even more freedom to shape modern interior spaces. Already used in standout projects, such as the Odyssey office and Deloitte University, the system includes wood print, new finishing options and refined details that enhance aesthetics and performance.

A Modern, Lightweight Ceiling Solution

With its linear, spaced elements the Tavola™ Straight Baffle system provides a lightweight metal ceiling solution ideal for contemporary interiors. Its open baffle structure creates a clean ceiling design that is easy to install, simple to maintain and highly adaptable. At a viewing angle of around 45 degrees, the ceiling even appears closed, giving designers the flexibility to play with visual transparency and depth.

Fully configurable

Designers can vary the distance, size and perforation of the baffles to meet specific acoustic requirements. This makes it possible to tailor the ceiling to the acoustic needs of each space, from lively public areas to focused work environments.

The Warm Look of Timber, the Strength of Metal

For projects that call for a more natural, welcoming atmosphere, Tavola™ Straight is also available with a woodprint finish. This option brings the visual warmth and richness of timber while maintaining the precision, stability and durability of metal. It’s an ideal solution for interiors where designers want to introduce a softer, more tactile character, such as hospitality places, retail environments or modern office concepts, without compromising on acoustic performance , fire behaviour and/or installation efficiency.

New End Caps in Felt and Metal

A notable recent addition is the introduction of new baffle end caps, available in both felt and metal. These finishing elements give the baffles a refined, complete appearance and allow designers to choose between a softer, textile-inspired look or a sleek, architectural metal finish. It’s a subtle detail that significantly enhances the final result.
