The iconic Silt Casino in Middelkerke, a stunning addition to the Belgian coast, officially opened in 2024. This landmark project seamlessly integrates with the surrounding dunes, offering a unique blend of beauty and functionality. The casino serves as a top destination for dining, entertainment, luxury accommodations, and events, setting a new standard for coastal architecture.

Central to the design is the Derako® solid wood grill ceiling, a custom solution provided by Hunter Douglas Architectural. Featured prominently in the event spaces and restaurants, this ceiling combines exceptional acoustics, compliance with stringent fire regulations, and bespoke aesthetics. Finished with a custom colour varnish selected by the architect, it enhances the ambiance and visual identity of Silt, solidifying its place as a premier destination.
