Walk into Innovatrics’ new headquarters in Bratislava and you won’t need a badge or a key. Fitting for a company that built its name on biometric software. A.M. Architects won the 2018 design competition with a concept shaped, quite literally, like a fingerprint: the building’s wings curve toward each other like fingerprint ridges and open up toward the entrance. A central atrium topped by a large skylight connects every floor and anchors the whole layout.

Across the lobby and shared spaces, a total of 1,375 m² of HeartFelt® ceilings has been installed: custom HeartFelt® Baffles in two widths, together with HeartFelt® Linear panels, all in a warm cream tone. The panels follow the curved geometry of the atrium while absorbing sound in a space that is otherwise dominated by hard surfaces – concrete, glass, stone. The result is a ceiling you barely notice unless you look for it, which is exactly what it was designed to do.
