Hunter Douglas® Sliding Shutter Screen with pre-tensioned fibreglass screen fabric is the perfect solution to improve the thermal and visual indoor comfort of a building while creating a striking and colourful appearance on the outside. The sliding aluminium frame is concealed behind the Enduris® Glass Core Technology screen fabric, available in a wide range of colours. It gives high-quality image façades an architectural appearance.

With the introduction of the next generation Sliding Shutters with outdoor screen fabric, Hunter Douglas Architectural Projects has created an elegant, flexible and high performance solution for exterior sun control. The system is compatible with the existing HunterDouglas® Sliding Shutter program including the optional motorization system. Hunter Douglas® Sliding Shutter Screen consists of a frame of extruded aluminium profiles and fibreglass screen fabric with concealed fixation. The ingenious screen fixing system ensures durable tensioning of the screen fabric and prevents occurring contamination to remain its attractive and taut appearance. A wide range of outdoor screen fabrics based on Enduris® Glass Core Technology is available. The high-quality fabric is extremely light-fast, dirt repellant, fire retardant and has an outstanding dimensional stability.

Control over comfort

Hunter Douglas® Sliding Shutter Screen is designed to improve the indoor visual and thermal comfort. The open weave structure of the outdoor screen fabric, with 3% openness factor, filters direct sunlight and reduces the impact of solar radiation. The result is a comfortable daylight level, reduction of solar heating and elimination of reflections and glare while maintaining outward view. The balance between these features can be further optimized to suit a specific situation by the choice of fabric colour.
