Collège Caroline Aigle

In January 2023, the Collège Caroline Aigle was completed in Cergy, France. Architects from Gaëtan Le Penhuel & Associés delivered the project in just one year, a remarkable achievement. Hunter Douglas Architectural contributed by supplying HeartFelt® and 30BD ceiling panels.

Hunter Douglas Architectural was tasked with installing nearly 1,360 m² of HeartFelt® panels and 345 m² of Luxalon® 30BD panels. The HeartFelt® system excelled in acoustics and modularity, making it ideal for hallways, the dining area, and multi-purpose spaces. The 30BD metal ceiling system provided a seamless exterior finish that complemented the interior.

The school, built with sustainable materials such as wood, concrete, and felt, accommodates 700 students. Assistant architect Corina Laza praised the collaboration: “Our first experience with HeartFelt®, but certainly not the last.”
